I Peace Wins Top 10 Longevity Breakthrough Award for Cell-Free Stem Cell Technology

The experimental product isolates and purifies factors released by lab-grown iPS-derived cells, with foundational studies examining age-related changes in tissues including skin and hair.

Key Points

  • I Peace was selected for a 2026 Top 10 Longevity Breakthrough Award for its research and development of iPSF.
  • iPSF is an experimental, cell-free product containing isolated and purified factors from the culture supernatant of induced pluripotent stem cell-derived cells.
  • The product remains in research and development and is not approved to treat, prevent, or mitigate any disease.

I Peace was selected as a Top 10 Longevity Breakthrough Award recipient at the 2026 Asia-Pacific Healthy Longevity International Summit. The award recognized the company’s research and development of iPSF, a cell-free product derived from the culture supernatant of induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived cells.

“We are honored to be recognized as one of this year’s Top 10 Longevity Breakthrough award recipients,” said Dr. Koji Tanabe, Founder and CEO of I Peace, Inc. “This recognition reflects our team’s commitment to advancing the possibilities of iPS cell technology and exploring new approaches in the longevity field. We are proud to be included among such respected innovators and look forward to continuing our efforts to progress iPSC science.”

The Longevity Breakthrough Awards recognize technologies and research with the potential to contribute to healthy longevity, based on scientific and medical evidence.

Cell-Free iPSC Research

Clinical trials involving iPSCs are underway across multiple disease areas. Findings from these studies suggest that the effects of iPSC-derived cells may involve both the replacement of damaged tissue and bioactive factors released by the cells that influence surrounding cells and tissues.

I Peace is developing iPSF as a cell-free technology that uses components derived from iPSC-derived cells rather than administering the cells themselves. The product is obtained by isolating and purifying factors produced in the culture supernatant of these cells.

Research Focus and Development Status

Research conducted to date has observed changes related to extracellular matrix production and aging-associated biomarkers. I Peace is investigating iPSF’s mechanisms of action, safety, and potential utility.

The company is also conducting foundational research and exploratory evaluations involving tissues that may experience age-related functional decline, including skin and hair. It plans to assess reproducibility, safety, and clinical relevance through appropriately designed studies.

iPSF remains in the research and development stage. It is not an approved pharmaceutical product intended to treat, prevent, or mitigate any specific disease.

I Peace Services

I Peace’s business and research activities include:

  • Manufacturing clinical-grade and research-grade iPSCs for pharmaceutical companies and research institutions through GMPeace.
  • Providing personal iPSC banking through My Peace.
  • Conducting longevity-focused research and development based on iPSC technologies.

I Peace was founded in 2015 by Dr. Koji Tanabe, who trained in Professor Shinya Yamanaka’s laboratory at Kyoto University and was the second author of research reporting the establishment of human iPSCs. Additional information is available on the I Peace website.

My Peace is the company’s personal iPSC banking service. It uses a scheduled blood draw to manufacture and store a customer’s iPSCs as a personalized cell resource for potential future autologous (sourced from the patient) therapies. Additional information is available on the My Peace website.
